Prysmian Riassicurazioni
Prysmian Riassicurazioni S.p.A., authorised by IVASS (Italian Insurance Supervisory Authority) Act no. 0293524 of 12/20/2023 and recorded in the Italian Register of Insurance Companies and Groups n. 4.00003 section IV , is one of the first Captive Reinsurance Companies operating in Italy. The Company was created from the cross-border merger by incorporation of Prysmian Reinsurance Company DAC, a Captive Reinsurance Company under Irish law already operating since 2008.
Governance
The Corporate Governance structure adopted by Prysmian Riassicurazioni is in line with IVASS Regulation No. 38/2018, laying down provisions on corporate governance, internal controls, risk management, compliance and outsourcing of the activities of insurance companies. The Corporate Governance system is based on the fundamental role of the Board of Directors, as the highest body appointed to manage the Company in the interest of the shareholders.
